In 2013 Sam Cawthorn, International Professional Keynote Speaker, together with Gary Ng, CEO and Founder of eWeb Marketing, started a company called ‘Institute For Professional Speakers’, now known as Speakers Institute. After their first few events at Google HQ in Sydney, they realised pioneering a startup in a marketplace where it had never been done before proved too difficult. Sam made the decision to push through - and together with his wife Kate - founded Speakers Institute.

The journey was very tough for Sam and Kate and during the first couple of years it had put a lot of pressure on their finances and marriage. Drew Wade, a startup maverick, assisted the founders in growing the business and the curriculum in a way that resonated with the marketplace. From humble beginnings and conducting events in their offices on the weekends, the small team dedicated their time and energy on transforming the lives of others, and together, inspired a global movement.

Speakers Institute is now a multimillion-dollar business that currently conducts events in 4 countries, reaching over 100 million people globally each year. They are now an award-winning Education and Empowerment company that can teach anyone how to master communication for influence. Speakers Institute works with the best trainers, facilitators, coaches and mentors in the world to give their students the greatest possible education and experiential learning environments within their programs, events & curriculum.

Today, Speakers Institute holds live events globally for organisations and currently conducts its own events throughout Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and India. Their intention is to continuously grow throughout Asia and to launch into Europe and the USA in the future. Many of their live events are streamed online as they continue to embrace the latest technology in Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence within their programs.

Since the inception of Speakers Institute, a team of expert speaker trainers has been built, partner this with exceptional organisations and a world-class curriculum, and their live events are transformational and achieve rapid results.
